From the recording Magical Creatures of Halloween
Who’s at the garden door? This playful chant turns every “rat-tat-tat” into a surprise — from a tiny mouse to a proud peacock to a big friendly bear! With a cheerful rhythm and a story of sharing, “Who Is That?” invites kids to sing, clap, and imagine the fun of friendship (and a little cheese, too!).
Lyrics
Who is that knocking at my garden door, a rat tat tat, a rat tat tat
So early in the morning now he’s knocking more, a rat tat tat, a rat tat tat
Well look at that it’s a teensy tiny mouse, a rat tat tat, a rat tat tat
Looking for some cheese to share with the cat, a rat tat tat, a rat tat tat
Who is that knocking at my garden door, a rat tat tat, a rat tat tat
So early in the morning now he’s knocking more, a rat tat tat, a rat tat tat
Well look at that it’s a pretty peacock, a rat tat tat, a rat tat tat
Looking for some cheese to share with the cat, a rat tat tat, a rat tat tat
Who is that knocking at my garden door, a rat tat tat, a rat tat tat
So early in the morning now he’s knocking more, a rat tat tat, a rat tat tat
Well look at that it’s a great big bear, a rat tat tat, a rat tat tat
Looking for some cheese to share with the cat, a rat tat tat, a rat tat tat
The cat and the mouse and the peacock and the bear all had enough to share!
