THE PROGRAM

A Week of Music, Movement & Art Making

Teaching Artists Molly (fiddle, guitar & ukulele), Rebecca (flat-foot dancing), and Ruby (visual art) team up for an immersive, interdisciplinary arts program rooted in the old-time music traditions of the United States.

Through traditional tunes and songs, ear-based music learning, flat-foot dancing, visual art, storytelling, and ensemble playing, students experience music as something to be heard, moved to, created, and shared. The program encourages curiosity, creativity, collaboration, musical confidence, and a deep sense of community.

An immersive arts program rooted in the old-time music traditions of the United States. Through music, movement, art, and storytelling, students learn by ear, create together, and experience the connections between music, dance, and visual art.
