From the recording Magical Creatures of Halloween
Scaredy Cat is a cozy Halloween story-song about a shy kitty who learns that it’s okay to stay home on Halloween. Sweet, gentle, and just the right kind of spooky!
Lyrics
Once there was a scardy-cat as timid as can be e e
Going out on Halloween was not his cup of tea!
He couldn’t howl or spit or hiss
Even when witches blew him a kiss
Riding on broomsticks he just didn’t care for it
He was such a timid fellow
Once there was a scardy-cat as timid as can be e e
Going out on Halloween was not his cup of tea!
