This is a song about oranges for fast and slow dancing in a preK setting.

Lyrics

I like to eat oranges from a tree, 123 they’re falling on me
April May and June their flowers bloom, the bees come all at once, never too soon
August September October those little oranges are still green, but they are having fun
soaking up all of that sun, every month they’re closer to be ripe.
Drip drop orange juice sneaking down my chin, I open up my mouth and I put more pieces in
November December oranges grow, making themselves juicy, this I know
January February finally they’re here, oooh oh they were getting ready
getting sweeter, getting heavy, not so small at all, and then they fall
Just like magic blossoms on a tree, poof now they’re oranges thank you Mr. bee
sticky juicy yummy sweet as honey, packaged just for picnics on the road
I can fit an orange or two inside my book bag, oooh the skin won’t break it’s strong,
I can carry ‘em all day long, I can juggle ‘em like a clown, some go up and some fall down
any time day or night, let’s have a bite!
